I have enjoyed the company of my own companion animals all of my life. I also volunteer in the Seminole County Animal Services “Hound Around Town” program. It’s a wonderful program that allows a kenneled shelter dog to leave the shelter for 2 hours and interact with the “real world.” This helps them decompress and when we return, I do a short assessment on the dogs behavior. This helps the staff learn more about the temperament of the dog and how he behaves in a more normal environment than a crowded, stressed-out, shelter. Ultimately, it is hoped that this activity will increase the chances of the dog being adopted.
Jessica Poole
Hi! I’m Jessica, I have always had a passion for pets and a love of all animals. I have had pets for most of my life and love taking care of them. They are so much fun to interact with and seeing their personalities come to life is great. I am so excited to be able to take care of others’ pets as if they were my own.

Ornella Llera
My passion for animals ignited at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. Growing up on a coastal farm, I developed a deep appreciation for the diverse world of animals. This love for learning and understanding different species has been the driving force behind my pursuit of knowledge in the field. My experience in Pet Care extends from the privilege of caring for my own beloved pets, as well as dedicating my time to volunteering efforts throughout the years. With a solid foundation in animal care, I am committed to providing exceptional care and support to animals under my charge. I continuously seek opportunities to expand my expertise through ongoing education, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field. I am excited to contribute my knowledge and passion to further the well-being and welfare of animals, making a meaningful impact in the lives of both animals and their owners.

I’m a crazy cat lady at home – I have four who are my world! I have 9 years experience with several kinds of dogs and cats of various sizes, breeds and ages, I also have experience with snakes, lizards, bunnies, hedgehogs. I have experience with pilling and giving insulin injections. I enjoy spending the night with pups that don’t like to be alone. I’ve seen a lot while caring for people’s pets and I take that responsibility seriously. For that, the reward has been the love I receive from all my clients, past and present.
